One-pedal driving makes city traffic effortless. - Operating Costs: Electricity is far cheaper than gas. Minimal maintenance (no oil changes, fewer brake jobs). Many owners report ~$0.03–0.05 per mile. - Technology & Software: Best-in-class infotainment, over-the-air updates that actually improve the car over time, excellent Autopilot (especially on highways), and a minimalist interior that feels futuristic. - Charging Network: Tesla’s Supercharger network is still the most reliable and widespread for long trips. - Resale Value & Features: Strong resale, free Supercharging on some older models, and cool extras like Sentry Mode, Summon, and app control. Best for: Tech enthusiasts, daily commuters, people who want low running costs, or those who drive a lot on highways. Bottom line: If you want a high-tech, efficient, exciting daily driver and can charge at home, a Tesla is still one of the strongest choices in 2026,especially the Model Y (most practical) or refreshed Model 3.
