Leave ReviewVirgin Media is like that friend who promises you the best time ever, and then, 3 hours into the evening, youโre sitting in the dark wondering if youโve been forgotten. They say "super fast internet" like theyโre handing you the keys to the digital kingdom, but sometimes itโs more like the internet equivalent of trying to drive a car with the handbrake on. You'll be cruising along, watching a perfectly fine video, and then suddenly, bamโbuffering. It's like Virgin's way of saying, โHey, we know you have places to go, but letโs just... chill for a sec.โ The Wi-Fi is strong, until it isnโt. One minute, youโre living your best life, binging Netflix in 4K, and the next, your internet goes on a holiday without telling you. And donโt even try to call their customer service. Theyโve mastered the art of making you feel like youโre not actually talking to a person but rather an elaborate prank thatโs somehow gone on for 45 minutes. Youโll explain your problem, and theyโll ask you to โturn the router off and onโ like they didnโt just watch you do that 10 minutes ago. Itโs like theyโre testing your patience to see if you really deserve Wi-Fi. But hey, when it works... it works. When the connectionโs solid, itโs like living in the future. Streaming, gaming, scrollingโeverything moves at light speed, and you feel like a tech wizard. And letโs not forget the speeds that are actually fast when Virginโs internet isnโt ghosting you. In conclusion, Virgin Media is like a rollercoaster ride. Sometimes you're on top of the world, sometimes you're in the dark wondering if itโs all going to end in tears. But when itโs good, itโs really good, and youโll swear by it... until the next time the Wi-Fi dies and you end up trying to get through to support while contemplating a career as a professional router resetter. 10/10 would recommend, mostly because Iโm too lazy to call another provider and ask them the same questions.
Best and fastest broadband service in the UK but comes at a high price. Contract pricing always increases above inflation every year. Worth cancelling a month prior to contract ending through retention's department to renegotiate a better deal. Customer services outside the UK can be problematic and tiresome.
