Quick Blood Test for Heart Disease Research โ Pays $45
In the month of May!
Sign up for a simple blood test. Be part of a Care Access national study about heart disease. This is just the screening part of the process- you have no obligation to participate in the full study, if chosen.
You get a $45 Visa debit card at the end of your appointment. I get a $25 referral fee. The appointment takes only about 10 minutes.
You MUST have an appointment. Schedule your appointment online using the link.
After clicking the link, scroll down to the map and type in your address to find your Care Access location in ______ to sign up. If the map is not showing a list of locations, then just refresh the page after typing in your address.
There is no exam or physical. You donโt even have to weigh in. It is just the one time blood draw. It only takes a small amount of blood (not nearly as much as blood donation). We are collecting samples to test for the Lp(a) protein. Lp(a) is a protein in the blood that can be genetically elevated and build up in the artery regardless of exercise and diet causing an increased risk of heart disease. We are collecting the samples to get a better understanding of the protein and risks and hopefully develop treatments in the future.
Make sure to hydrate really well with water the day before your appointment to make it easier to find your vein.
